Paneer with capsicum
This recipe Will serve : Me and you just us two (2 people)
For this recipe just let get started with the Ingredient :
100 grams cottage cheese (paneer) cut into small pieces
1 cup capsicum cut in 1/2 inch cube
2 table spoon oil
1/2 tea spoon mustard seed
1 Star Anise (phool chakri)
1 tea spoon of garlic
2 onions medium size finely chopped into pieces
2 tomatoes medium size finely chopped into pieces
1/4th tea spoon red chilly powder
1/4th tea spoon coriander powder
1/4th tea spoon Garam masala powder
salt as per taste.
Heat the oil in a small pan and add mustard seed and star anise then add onion garlic and saute till it turns golden brown on low flame.
Add tomatoes and saute till its completely cooked then add all the garam masala, coriander powder and red chilly powder and salt as per taste.
Now add the cottage cheese and capsicum and mix it gently.
Cover it with a lid and cook for 5 min open the lid, mix it again gently and cook again for 5 min
Open the lid and cook for another 5 min.
Serve it hot with some roti.
Cook in low flame only.
Break the petals of the star anise (phool chakri).
Don’t cook the capsicum too long as it will become soggy and wont taste good.
If u want gravy add some more onions and tomatoes, grind it in a mixer to form a thick sauce.
