Naan is a flat Bread usually cooked in Tandoor but today I am going to show you how to cook the same on a Tawa (Flat pan). Surprise your family by making it all your self at home with the ingredient you might already have in your kitchen. I am sure you are going to love it.

This will make 4 Naan 8 pieces

For the dough:

1cup (110grms) of all purpose flour (maida)

1/2 tea spoon baking powder

1 table spoon curd

1/4th of a tea spoon of salt

water for kneading.

Chopped Garlic 2 table spoon

Chopped coriander leaves

white sesame seeds

Butter for brushing.

Mix all the ingredients together and make a soft and smooth dough using little water. Making sure its not sticky.

Cover it with some wet cloth and let it rest for 10 to 15 minuts. Make 4 smooth balls.

Heat the Tawa on high flame

Roll the dough in an oblong shape. Should not be very thin.

Sprinkle some chopped garlic, coriander and sesame seeds and press gently.

Wet your hand and apply it on the back side of the nana and place that side on the hot Tawa.

Let it cook for a while then lift the Naan and flip it on direct flame, cook both the sides.

Brush some butter over the garlic side of the Naan and cut into 2 pieces.

Repeat the same process with rest of the dough.

Serve hot with any of your favorite curry.

Can make it without Garlic also.
