Vegetable Burger

Vegetable burger are very popular in India as there are many people who don’t eat meat. I myself love to eat vegetable burger over chicken burger.

Serves 3

Ingredients:

3 burger buns

3 cheese slice

4 table spoon mayonnaise

3 table spoon chopped cabbage

1 table spoon oil

onion rings

sliced tomatoes

For the Patties:

1/2 cup mashed potatoes

1/4th of a cup mashed green peas

4 table spoon of grated carrots

1 green chilly chopped

3 table spoon of finely chopped capsicum

1/2 cup bread crumbs and more for coating

salt to taste

Method:

Combine all the ingredients together listed under patties and divide it in 3 equal portions.

Shape it round and flat. And coat it using bread crumbs.

Add a little oil on a Non Stick pan and then grill it on both the sides.

Mix mayonnaise and chopped cabbage.

Take burger bun cut into 2 pieces and then apply butter and slightly toast it on a pan.

Apply some mayonnaise mixture on the bun then place some onion rings and then place the vegetable patties then cheese slice, onion rings again. Spread some mayonnaise on the other half of the burger bun and place it on top. Use a tooth pic to give support to the bun to stay on top with a slice of tomato.
