Chocolate and Walnut Brownie Cupcakes

Chocolate and walnut brownie cupcakes are Dense, moist and soft from inside. They have a little shiny crust on top and are great without any frosting.

Makes: 6

80 grams dark chocolate ( I am using Morde )

80 grams of butter (I like to use Salted)

1/2 cup all purpose flour (60 grams)

2 table spoon coco powder

1/2 cup sugar (100 grams)

2 eggs

1 tea spoon of vanilla extract/ vanilla essence

3/4th cup chopped walnuts

Pre-Heat the oven to 180 degree Celsius Thats 350 degree fahrenheit.

Melt the chocolate and butter using a double boiler ** place the chocolate and butter in a heat proof bowl and then place the bowl over a pan of simmering water**

Once the chocolate and butter is melted switch off the gas and add sugar, eggs in the mixture and mix using a wire whisk or a spatula.

Add vanilla extract and mix again, then add all purpose flour, coco powder and chopped walnuts and mix.

Divide the batter equally in 6 muffin cups and bake for 15-20minutes or till you see a shiny crust over the cupcakes.

Cooking time may differ from oven to over.

We have not used any baking powder because we don’t want to make them fluffy.

If you want you can bake them in square cake tin also and then cut them in square pieces.

We have not used electric mixer as we don’t want to incorporate any air
